Both confirmed the USMC will be present on public roads in order to setup a military presence during routine DUI check stops. “They will be working closely over the month to cut down of traffic accidents,” said Cox, “the Military Police will observe DUI check points and watch for their own guys. The intent is to have military presence out there.”"
WHY?! What possible reason can there be to have a Marine Corps presence at routine DUI stops?
Here's the answer: None legal. The only reason--and there is no other--is to establish the "validity" and "normalcy" of armed military troops on domestic soil. Once you establish that, you can then move on to make that military presence an active one, as in reducing the citizenry's scope of legal activities.
That has one and only one name: Fascism.
Mark My words: If this isn't stopped now, it will become routine. By then, it will take massive and even armed action to put an end to its encroachment.
